This workshop is aimed at various age groups. The focus is in using modern and digital technologies in the process of manufacturing useful items and traditional souvenirs. The basis of the workshop is transferring a hand made drawing from paper to a digital form, editing it on a computer and laser engraving it on a piece of wood. This way the students can see the whole process from idea to a finished product and learn something about each step.
This workshop premiered during the Evening of mathematics 2018. at the Elementary school Antun Nemčić Gostovinski in Koprivnica and has received ovations from both the students and teachers.
The workshop can be adjusted according to the expected age group and space and time available and it can even include a 3D printer demonstration.
